Rev Thomas SILVER was born on 15 Dec 1803 in Georgetown (Frederick Co) MD. He died on 24 Mar 1896 in Windom (Yancey) NC and was buried in Mar 1896 in the Rev Thomas Silver Cemetery, Windom NC. He was a Baptist Minister for 66 Years. Thomas and his brothers Green B. and George Silver signed the 1825 petition for the formation of a new county (Yancey).
