9. Green Berry SILVER was born on 8 Feb 1795 in Georgetown (Frederick Co) MD. He died on 27 Jan 1883 in Micaville (Yancey) NC. Green Mountain at the Toe River is named after him. Green B and his brothers George and Thomas Silver signed the 1825 petition for the formation of a new county.
