He married Christobel Brushett (Reference # 5185) 19 January 1617 at St. Mary's Church, Bridgeport, Dorsetshire, England. She was born c1594 at Mosterton, Dorsetshire, England and died 27 September 1655 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA. She arrived in Boston with their children 4 September 1633 aboard the Griffin. Capt. John Gallop, Jr. (Reference # 2592) was born 1618 at Bridgeport, Dorsetshire, England and was baptised 25 January 1619/20 at St. Mary's, Mosterton, Dorsetshire, England. He died 19 December 1675 at Narragansett Fort (now South Kingston, RI) while participating in the Narragansett Swamp Fight during King Philip's War and was buried near the scene of the fight. He arrived in Boston, MA aboard the Griffin 4 September 1633. He was a Ship Owner and took part in the coastal New England trade. He married Ann or Hannah Lake (Reference # 2593) 1643 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA. She was baptised 3 July 1621 at North Benfleet, Essex, England and died 19 December 1675 at Stonington, New London Co., CT. She arrived in New England aboard the Abigail 6 October 1635.
