Nightingale Cockers

Nightingale Cockers

Hi, My name is Gail Bohacek (Kennel name: Nightingale Cockers). In October of 1982 we bought our first Cocker Spaniel puppy from a person unknown to us at the time. It was the cutest little black female puppy.

As She Grew Up...

I decided I'd like to breed her so I contacted the gal I bought her from to see if she would have a boyfriend for our "Daisy". She did and we had our first litter of nine darling Cocker puppies. Later we bought a black and white bitch. She did not turn out to be show quality.

We did however breed her and she produced

the first champion for me...Ch. Nosowea's 'n Bo's No Trial. From there I purchased a silver buff female who became Ch. Tri-Pod's 'n Bo's Picture This. She produced Ch. Nightingale's Double Take and Ch. Nightingale's Classic Image.

"See The Partis"

In the mean time I had seen...

and fell in love with my first male puppy, a black/tan, he became Ch. Northyork Doctor Who. Then not till a few years later did I acquire my next promising champion, a black male puppy, who became Ch. Hyline's Rompin' Rebel. And then last but not least, I acquired from Jane Benthein (Schatzie Acres Cockers), my next champion, a red puppy bitch, which I picked out at 3 days old. She is now

Ch.Schatzie's Robyn Retticus.

A Big Thank You To MaryJeanne!!

Ch.Schatzie's Robyn Retticus is pictured finishing her championship and as a youngster in the collage (the middle right).

This is Ch. Derby's 'N Ju-Mar's Dutch Apple Aire (Cory)

Here is a female puppy produced by Robyn and Cory.
