TURBO

Turbo, age 5, 9/2001

Turbo is an American Staffordshire Terrier (or more likely a Pit Bull) whom we rescued from the Dane County Humane Society on 11/7/96. If you think Labs are active you should see Turbo! Turbo is learning to climb trees! In the evenings, though, his favorite pasttime is acting as resident couch potato. He has a super personality but Am Staffs are definitely not a good choice if you want a "quiet" pet or are a first time dog owner. Because of the "Pitbull" connection it is important to make sure that an Am Staff is well-behaved and knows who the boss is at home. Obedience training is a must. Turbo has been through obedience and agility classes and has his CGC as well as a TDI (Therapy Dog) certification.
