Camdenite Succumbs At Age 68

CAMDEN -- Curtis W. Armstrong 68, River Road, died Thursday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Utica.

He was born in Florence Sept. 6, 1899, son of Jay and Cora Lobdell Armstrong and was educated in the Florence area schools.

Mr. Armstrong and Delia Baker were married Nov. 24, 1920, at the First Methodist Church parsonage in Camden by the Rev. Roy Sheffield. He was a member of the First Methodist Church here.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Roy C. and Donald J., both of Camden, and Mrs. Clifford (Marion) Lohr, Stacy Basin; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Howland and Mrs. Fannie Hiltbrand, both of Camden; 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the E. H. McDaniels Funeral Home, 47, Miner Ave., with the Rev. Stanley E. Watson, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home today 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
