Last evening John J. Peterman and Miss Lizzie Waters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Waters of
Lock street were married at St. Peter's Church by the pastor, Rev. Father Murphy, in the
presence of a goodly number of friends and relatives. John Weigert of Utica, acted as groomsman
and Miss Annie Waters, the bride's sister, as the bridesmaid. After the performance of the
ceremony a reception was given at the bride's home. The young couple are well and favorably
known in this city, where they have always resided. They were the recipients of numerous
presents. Mr. and Mrs. Peterman left on the first Atlantic for a trip of several days east.
They have the best wishes of a large circle of friends.
