Russell J. Williams, 81, of 603 N. Madison St., died in the Rome Hospital at 5:30 a.m. today. He had been hospitalized four days.
For 50 years he was office manager of the Reigel Paper Co. in New York and had lived in Rome the past 13 years.
Mr. Williams is survived by his widow, the former Anna K. Barnard, whom he married Nov. 4, 1900, and a sister, Mrs. Lulu Pfluke, Detroit, Mich.
He was born in West Branch on Sept. 2, 1870, son of Thomas and Katherine Williams.
Mr. Williams was of the Presbyterian fath and belonged to the F&AM in New York.
WILLIAMS - On Wednesday February 20, 1952 Russell J. Williams. Funeral service will be held from his late home 603 N. Madison St. on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment in Lee State Road Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
