Welcome to my homepage. My name is Kathy Hendrix and I live in North Carolina. I am a wife and mother of three. I have two boys and a girl. My daughter, April, is 26 and lives in  Massachusetts. My oldest son, Mitchell, is 22 and is an artist. He would like to make video games one day. My youngest son, Joshua, is 20 and wants to be a computer programer. He would also like to make video games some day. My husband, Mitchell, Sr. is retired from twenty years in the Air Force. He is from the mountains of North Carolina and when he got out he decided to move back home.

I have lived all across the country all of my life. I love moving around because I love to meet new people. That is why I enjoy going on the internet, too. I collect poems, recipes, and music. I love to fish and camp in the summer.
Most of all, I love my Lord!

If you would like to see Pikes Peak, click here and you will see it from a cam in Colorado Springs. I used to live up in the mountains behind Pikes Peak. The song America, The Beautiful was written  by a lady named Kathy Lee Bates after climbing this mountain. I have never been to the top myself, but I have fished at it's base. You can really feel God's presence as you sit there.

If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain,
Remove hence to younder place and it shall remove;
and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Matthew 17:20

Too often we miss the point of the mustard seed. We think quantity of faith is the determining factor in getting our hearts' desires. Quantity has nothing to do with it. Jesus used the mustard seed to show that we all have at least that much faith, and if we will learn to employ it, we will see miraculous things happen in our lives. Because of our lives in Christ, nothing is impossible for us!

I have known the Lord all of my life but did not truly come to him till I was 18. I have come and gone from Him and the different things that have happened in my life show when I was letting Him take care of me. Too many times I have trusted in the world instead of our Lord. Now I have rededicated my life to Him and He has truly blessed my life. So many changes have started to happen and all are good. Or should I say GREAT!! If you don't know the Lord, then read this.

 Jesus answered and said unto him,"Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
John 3:3-7

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The Bible tells us that when we are born again,
our old life is dead and we are now without sin.
Basically we start all over again! Isn't that a great gift?!
