If you have play-doh handy, try this out! If not, use your imagination! Get a red blob of play doh, thats YOU
Get a blue blob, thats YOUR SPOUSE
Open your Bible to Matthew 19:5,6
For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall cleave to his wife, and they twain shall be ONE FLESH.... Wherefore they are no more twain, but ONE FLESH, (mash the two blobs together symbolizing MARRIAGE. The play-doh becomes purple, symbolizing the ONE-FLESH.... Now take that purple play-doh and separate it into the red and blue again. ITS IMPOSSIBLE to separate back to its original state!!) What God hath joined together Let no man put asunder.
It is impossible to separate the one flesh, once it has been entertwined. Laws may dissolve the legalistic aspect, but the covenant can not be broken but by death.
