Just put some now pages on the Web yesterday. They are there to help me
with my Crocker surname research. Stop by when you get a chance and let me
know what you think.

Barry has now brought the number of subscribers to our list up to 32. He
just posted an announcement to the list regarding his splendid homepage,
but as a lot of us have been at times he was so enthusiastic about the
new page that he forgot to give you the address. So here it is:

            http://home.cwnet.com/bcrocker

Pay him a visit and you will be impressed. I was.

Now for a note from me. The list has taken a jump of six new subs in the
last several days and we welcome our new cousins. I hope that none of
you are waiting on me to dole out tons of information on the Crocker
Clan. From the beginning, I have stated that I and relatively new to
this and I hope to be able to work the mechanics of the list and learn
together with you. We have a great start and now we can get down to why
we are baned together on this list.

Happy hunting,

Dean

Do you happen to have a downloadable file of your family tree for my research

Hello All!
I am trying to make a database file of all your email addresses. If you
don't have a problem with it, please send me your email address and where
your from. Please don't forget to include your full name as email return
addresses are sometimes cryptic.
  Thanks for the help.

Barry,

I think it would be good if your database included which
Crocker line each person was following.

"Barry Crocker"
Barry, filling in those blanks would be nice. I have enough of a problem
with filling in those much downstream from the source. Keep it up. Maybe
someone will find it!

Max,
I hope someone might make a hit. I bought Family Tree maker's Family
Archives "Super Bundle". It's got the World family Tree, Volume 3 through
7 in the bundle so I hope to find more information there. You will be one
of the first I will send info to if I find something interesting.
  Take care.

Subject: OLD NOTES
Date: Thu, 8 May 1997 09:12:07 -0400 (EDT)

I have just received a packett from a cousin that contains Myrtis
Handley's old notes. These notes are more complete than the family
tree she sent out. They site her sources in some cases and none
in others. Bummer. They are in tatters in places and I am hoping
to get some copies that will be readable. Most are poorly typed,
(like I do most of the time), and some are hand written notes. The
copies are in blue ink as if it was the old offset print that was
used years ago or maybe carbon paper copies. Some places it is almost
impossible to read.

After I get all this down and understand what I really have, I will
see what I can do about getting the information to all of you. She does
say one thing of interest, she cannot tie most of the Crockers back
to the first Anthony in the 1600s but maybe when I study it more I may
can find something. She has other Crockers information too, that she
corresponded with, maybe can help out another line or two.

After I get organized, I will try to get you some info.

Carrol, are you the one that revised the notes of Myrtis H. and
published?

I revised 2 pages and added one and have sent several copies out to
different ones in the group. Do you converse with Gerry Crocker
Foxhall?

All Right Carol! You seem to have found a treasure of info. I'll be
anxious to hear what you find in it.

As I recall, Boddie quotes Myrtis Handley, and Boddie is the one
everyone else now quotes! Great find!

Gotta go for now. Busy weekend coming up with an engagement party for
my youngest (Paul).
