It was my idea to start this organization, although Effy, the royal and ever-hungry highness, might have you believe otherwise.
She thinks she is a princess, but I am the cute one. No one has a scrunched up little face like I do. And no one jumps as high or feigns not liking affection like I do. (It's true that I can't help but purr when the Human slave picks me up and puts me on her shoulder; but I still do a good job of pretending that I am totally disgusted. I think she's fooled most of the time.)
Most importantly, both my sister and the Slave know who rules the Feather.

We will always love you and remember you, Lucy. We pray that you are now breathing freely, chasing feathers, and eating all the freeze-dried shrimp you want. We hope we get to see you again someday on that Rainbow Bridge.
