Man, it was cold. Mid July, had to buy sweatshirts!
It was Friday, and a hurricane was hitting Martha's vineyard that day. Avoided the Cape and visited Boston and Salem.
Wanted to go up to Maine, but the clerk at the gift store said avoid it on a Friday afternoon. EVERYBODY goes to Maine for the weekend.

Of course, had to go to a place "where everybody knows your name" (they didn't).
