Well everyone I hope that 1999 was a good year for you! Mine has been full of new beginnings and adventures. I am sure the year 2000 will be just as exciting.

Last year we moved from West Virginia to Alabama. Talk about a different life style. We are about 15 to 20 minutes from the Tennessee river, which just makes us want a boat.

I couldn't believe that I had to mow the grass before we put up the Christmas decorations last year. Rick, my husband, was sweating and saying it was to hot for December. This year was a little better. At least it was 50 degrees.

We now have new jobs. I am a material controller with a company I have been with forever. My husband is the Supervisor Manager. I still am in front of the computer most of the day but I really don't mind to much.

My husband belongs to the Air Guards and now does his week ends in Birmingham, Al. Last fall he went to Hawaii for his 2 weeks, tough 2 weeks. Anyway if you would like to see some pictures just click on Hawaii on the link table below. Rough duty huh!! Of course the wives weren't invited.

My husband looks motorcyles. The garage has so many in it we can't get the autos in. He just got a Hertiage Softail Harley. It sure is a nice riding bike, exspecially for the rider on the back. For vaction this year we went to Sturgis, the Harley ralley in South Dakota. Rick rode his bike the whole way while I followed driving the truck pulling a camper. Going up wasn't so bad, but on the way back it was so hot and the butts were getting tired. Hopefully I will put in pictures.

We are now the proud grandparents of a beautifu baby boy, Jadon. He was born April 1999. We get to see him when we are in West Virginia and hopefully you will to, if I get to work on my pics.

Our daughter is going to have a baby come March 2000. I still say the docs over-estimated it. I think it will be in February. She already knows it will be a girl, Ashley Rose. Of course we are to young to be grandparents, at least we think so. The great grandparents are giving her a shower in January. She knows about it, but what she doesn't know is that I will be able to come and surprise her.

One night my husband calls me and wants me to meet him at a friends house, says we have something to talk over. Of course I thought "great what now." When I get there he hands me a pamphlet and says would you like to go on a cruise to Montego Bay. I just look at him and say "Daaaa Yes" so we set sail in January for 7 wonderful days.

So far the year 2000 is working out just right. I hope your 2000 year will be just as great as mine is going to be.

In my spare time I love to do crafts. All kinds of crafts. I am going to include some pictures of some finished crafts I have completed. I did some lawn wood crafts for the front yard for Christmas, an elf village. Hopefully I will get the pictures on my craft page soon. I still have more elves to do. Check out some of my craft pictures, below on the links table below.

Another love of mine are my animals. I have 2 cats Meow (female) and Buddy(male). When we were moving in Meow got her collar velcored to my sons sandal. Scared her to death, but we couldn't help but laugh at this cat with a shoe attached to her neck. Buddy is into everything and is very friendly. I think that he thinks that he can talk cause about 2 a.m. every morning I hear him calling Meow, he almost can talk. Buddy plays fetch with his toy mouse and comes when you call him..I think he thinks he is a dog.

Buddy has learned a new trick from somewhere. When I am asleep and he thinks it is time for me to wake up and feed him, he will chew on my hair. No matter how many times he gets pushed off the bed he will come back until I am up.

Midnight(our Black Lab) is about 17 years old and is super friendly. Altho her bark is worst than her bite since her tail is always wagging. So much for protection!! Midnight loves to swim and play fetch, altho she is getting up in years (119 in human years)loves to play in the snow the most. Catches snowballs when you throw them. I took her to the Vet and he was amazed that she is so old. He did blood work on her and said all her inners were in excellent shape. She does have arthritis but the Vet gave her some pills and now she acts like a puppy again. The pictures of her are old, so you will have to add a bunch of white to her face. That is the only place she is getting white hairs.
