hurricane GEORGES...
We were really unprepared for this hurricane stuff!
This is the view of our guest bedroom. The tree in the background landed
on the roof, but thankfully
it did not fall into the house!! We had to live in a LITTLE hotel room
until the civil engineers deemed it
safe to live in. But at least we didn't have the damage that our friends
Greg and Laurie did......
Their house got completely flooded (ok, so not completely flooded...just
3 feet), see the
water marks on the wall?!?! It ruined everything! Thank goodness for
insurance!
