What can I do with my dog?

Besides simply loving your dog, there are a lot of activities open to dog owners. Many of these activities are open to any AKC registered (or permanently listed) animals. These activities do several things including:

Encourage pet and owner bonding

Compare animals against what they are bred to do

Encourage pet (and people) physical fitness

Often make better pets than an untrained animal

These activities include, but are not limited to:

Obedience

Agility

Confirmation

Jr. Showmanship

Field trials (bird dog, tracking, etc.)
