Actress Karolyn Grimes as "polio patient"

Karolyn had a small part as a young polio patient in the movie, Sister Kenny. Karolyn remembers meeting Sister Kenny: I did not wear a brace. I was the little girl at the beginning whose name was Carolyn. Rosalind Russell was working my limbs during that scene. I was in some of the publicity shots and I found it hard to act like I had no control over my body. I do remember meeting the real Sister Kenny. She visited the set while I was there one time. She seemed like a very kind woman and she was showing Ms. Russell some techniques.

Karolyn is more well known as the youngest daughter of the Jimmy Stewart character in the movie, It's A Wonderful Life. She also had that wonderful line: Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings!
