Cat Facts

The heaviest cat on record was Himmy, an Australian cat who weighed in at 45 pounds, 10 ounces. He was listed in the Guinness Book of world records in 1986.

The largest known litter in which all the kittens survived was from Bluebell, a Persian from South Africa. She gave birth to 14 kitties!

In the Ozarks, if a cat lies curled up with her head and stomach facing up, it's thought to mean bad weather; but if she yawns and stretches, good weather is coming.

It is estimated that cats can make over 60 different sounds.

The smallest cat known lives in Illinois-USA. He is a blue point himalayan and is 2ž inches tall and 7˝ inches long.

After the litter box is cleaned, immediately use it.
Always accompany guests to the bathroom.It is not necessary to do anything. Just sit and stare.
If one person is busy and the other one idle, sit with the busy one.
When it becomes time to dislodge a fur ball, choose the dining room at dinnertime.
Get enough sleep during the daytime so you are fresh for playing between 2 and 4 am.
