George and Elizabeth Stallman family Letter found recently in my papers. Dated Nov. 18, 1996 From Betty Loomis 1437 E. 25th Ave. Kansas City, Mo. 64116 Nov. 18, 1996 Dear Mrs. Speck, I am trying to find information regarding the Stallman family ancestry as pertains to my family. There is a notation at the Library of Congress of a Stallman family history from 1881 - 1985. I was wondering if there is any connection to our families with the information I have to date. I enclose a list of descendents of George Stallman. The family originated in small towns in and around what is now (I believe)Westphalia, Germany. My grandfather was Bernard Stallman, born in 1834. He was one of the children of Bernard Stallman and his second wife, Anna Dohdt. The family came to America and settled in the Louisville, Kentucky region before coming to Missouri where both my grandparents eventually died in Wien, Missouri. If you have any information pertaining to this family I would be happy to exchange what information I have. Any information yiou can provide would be greatly appreciated.
