Gate 6, a new entrance to Sanford Stadium at UGA, is paved with black bricks in the shape of a large "G" surrounded by red bricks.  In honor of the loyal Bulldogs from the Barlow family, we have placed an engraved brick in the  " G" section with the inscription : "The Bulldog Barlows Camden County GA." In the picture above right,  James Bryan points out the Barlow brick and also the brick in memory of his father, Mike Bryan.

The Barlows of Georgia are traditionally great fans of the University of Georgia Bulldog football team. A highlight of the year for Barlows is the Georgia--Florida football game held in what used to be called the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida.  Starting in early September, Uncle Jimmy and his friend, Sam, start contacting friends, acquaintances , and even total strangers who might be able to supply them with extra tickets to the big game. Somehow or other they manage to come up with about 30 tickets each year for the Barlows and their buddies.
Since every family has a few black sheep, (or in this case, blue & orange sheep), we must confess that some of the Barlows have married Florida Gators. If that were not bad enough, they are even being forced to watch as their little children are being raised to be baby Gators!.
