Well, we are on our way!!! Here is our officical play by play on what we are doing in order to prepare for our trip to the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace in Savannah. We are really excited! In our planning we will post what our actual and anticipated income and expenses are to help out others. Enjoy our site and wish us Luck and Good Fund Raising. - Troop 292

March 15, 1998
Called the Birthplace at (912) 233-4501. Asked to make a reservation, was told that I could not do that until I received and read a copy of Birthplace Bound (BB). Asked to have BB mailed to us.
 
March 23, 1998
Received copy of BB. Started reading, gathered budget and itinerary info from other leaders from WAGGG-L mailing list and websites
 
April 10, 1998
Call Birthplace, spoke to Robin at ext 17. Made tenative reservation for May 22, 1999. Robin told me to we must mail the reservation form (in BB) in within 2 weeks with our $15 reservation fee.

Also called Liz Comings at Christ Church - (912) 232-4131- and made reservation for the Parish House (cost $0 - need to make donation) for May 19th thru 26th.
 
April 17, 1998
Presented BB and other information to the troop, voted on how many, what, and cost of Special Interest Sessions. Outcome as follows:

Mailed in reservation.
 
April 28, 1998
Called Robin and changed reservation to May 31 (Sisters of the Pallette) and May 30 (Rainy Day 1870). I had written down the wrong dates for school being let out (duh!).

Also called and changed reservation at Christ Chruch for May 28th thru June 3rd.
 
July 10, 1998
At troop meeting started voting on other activities for Savannah, as well as additional fund raising needing to be done and the anticipated income from each.
