Welcome to LES BEAUX CHATS CATTERY.

WE BREED AND SHOW:

We do not have any kittens available at the moment, but have several litters of various breeds growing up and enquiries about these and future littes are welcome at e-mail Johan Lamprecht.

You can also find an extensive list of kittens of all breeds available on the SACC site.

During 2000, our Black Calico Smoke Cornish Rex girl: SUP CH LES BEAUX CHATS REXOTIC became A Supreme Champion in only one season and went on to become the SOUTH AFRICAN CAT OF THE YEAR - 2000. This competition was judged by two International Judges. She has now retired from competition and is experiencing the joys of motherhood.

Our Beautiful Redpoint Smoke Balinese boy: SUP CH ISIS ANTONIUS MARCUS became a Champion and Best Adult on Show on the first Cape Town show of 1998. He went on to become a Supreme Champion and was 3rd highest scoring cat on the CAT OF THE YEAR point scoring system at the end of 1998. He has sired several litters of Balinese and Oriental Mediumhair kittens.

Our Havana boy, SUPREME CHAMPION ORI-MESE FIDEL became the first Supreme Champion Oriental in the Cape Province. He sired typey kittens with excellent natures and is now retired from studwork.

During 2001 three of our cats made it to the top 15 entires of the regional "CAPE TOP CAT" Competition on show winning point scores in the Western Cape Province. (A Manx male, a Munchkin male and a Siamese female) We also bred the first Munchkin to make it to the SACC National Cat of the Year competition.

During 2002 we once again had 4 cats in the top 15 entires of the CAT OF THE YEAR score list from the Western Cape Province. Our Japanese Bobtail was a National Qualifier, but did not take part in the competition due to overseas travel by her owner.

During 2003 a Blue eyed White Cornish Rex we bred and co-owns missed the CAT OF THE YEAR competition by 2 points. A Munchkin we bred did very well in the Neuter Section. Our original import Munchkin stud made it to 4th position of the "All Breeds Stud of the Year" point score on wins of proginy, while the original import LaPerm female went to the same position for Brood Queens.

During 2004 three cats we bred made it to the SACC National Cat of the Year competition. In the Gauteng region there is one entire Cornish Rex female. In the Kwazulu/Natal region there is one entire Munchkin female and one neuter Munchkin male.

During 2005 a spayed Cornish Rex female became Best Neuter of the Year, as well as Best SA Bred Cat of the Year.

During 2007 a spayed White female Cymric made it to Cat of the Year, a first for the breed in South Africa.

Congratulations to the owners of these cats and thank you for campaigning them so successfully!

Our cats have regularly featured in Animaltalk, Cat's Life and All About Cats Magazine in breed- and general articles. These include the Manx, Munchkin, LaPerm American Shorthair and Japanese Bobtail.
