Help Locate Cinnamon

This is a photo of my lovely lady Cinnamon, she is a very large red & rust female with a scar on her right paw and her right ear falls with a scar also. she has a patch of 7 white hairs on her chest and to my knowledge has had only one litter since '94.

My exhusband talked me into getting a Doberman since '85 and of course I wasn't sure of doing this, and all it took was going to a "DOG SHOW" at the COW PALACE in San Francisco,Ca., to convince me to start looking into the best breeder to find her. I fell in love with this breed and to this day would only want a Doberman next to me.

Cinnamon had her litter on 9/25/94 and I was able to see her give birth to 10 puppies, 2 girls and 8 boys. We lost 1 of the girls which was the only red of the two. this story is very long and one that is still hard for me to tell, for I lost so much after they were born and losing Cinnamon and four puppies (one at birth and 3 after the mother was lost). Anyway, one morning back in Dec7,'94 Cinnamon and 4 of the puppies walked away off my property in Healdsburg,Ca. My husband at the time thought they went into the hills behind our 4 acres of land and they were walking down the main road of Mill Creek Road. 10 miles of dead end road to the main road of Westside Road. No sign of them any where to be found and I wasn't told of this until sometime later that day.

At the time I was working in So. San Francisco when this happened and it takes me 1 1/2 hrs to get home or even longer . We recieved a phone call from the shelter on Westside Road about the puppies (due to a sign on our property that showed them for sale) I got the 4 babies back but no mother was ever found with them. The puppies were found on an embankment on the creek that flows there(called Mill Creek).

Cinnamon was the best mother ever born. When the puppies would wonder off all we needed to do was tell Cinnamon to find your babies and she would and have them all together in a pack. this truely impressed my breeder at the time, she came to get her pick of the litter. Cinnamon was bred with the number 4 Champion of the world at the time and I was never told of his ranking at all. It took my breeder 4 hrs to choose the one she wanted.

They all have top show Quality and my ex-husband gave all her puppies away when we split up and he never looked for Cinnamon. I put flyers up and sent them to every Vet in our phone book with no luck what so ever. One phone call led me to a dead end search and to this day still no Cinnamon. She could be any where in Sonoma County and possibly 5 to 6 miles away down Westside Rd. There is a school off Westside Rd. that could be possible. My ex wanted me to drop this search 2 yrs ago but I still need to look for her until I know she rests to peace. Part of me has felt that my breeder had something to do with this ,due to other things that took place after finding out other things that the owner of Cody (the father of her puppies) told me that happened to her and to Cody. I've remaind in contact with Cody's owner and we both hope we get our kids back one day. I hope to find help bringing Cinnamon home!
