German Pinschers are not yet allowed for AKC competition. GPs are FSS (foundation stock) registered while the AKC is studying the breed and making their determinations.

Most GP exhibitors will welcome the GPs acceptance into the AKC show arena. The German Pinscher Club of America (GPCA) is working very hard towards that day.

I was also President of the SEGPC (South East German Pinscher Club) in 1996."
