What's a gallimaufry??
It's a jumble, a hodgepodge, a mixture of various things.
It's what you'll find here.

Rendezvous are how we got addicted to the 18th century. Modern Rendezvous are patterned after the annual gatherings of the Mountainmen. Once a year, in a pre-arranged place, the Mountainmen would gather to trade, party, buy supplies, and compete with rifle, knife & hawk. Today's Rendezvous is an 18th Century family campout. Everything that can be seen should be appropriate to the period 1640-1840; tents, clothing, cooking gear, everything. The flag to the left is the one we fly over our camp and is dated to 1755. If you find us at an event, stop by for a bit. The coffeepot is usually on and we'd love to meet you.
