On Thursday, September 5, 1996
we held our tiny daughter's still body in our arms.
We cried tears of loss, tears of anger, tears of regret
for this life taken far too soon.

* Perhaps they are not stars, *
* but rather openings in Heaven *
* where the love of our lost ones *
* pours through and shines down upon us *


We never heard her cry or watched her grow,
but we will love her with all our hearts
and remember her always.
