AKA is proud to present, along with the Korean American Museum of Los Angeles:

SNAPSHOT:
A PORTRAIT OF KOREAN ADOPTEES

SNAPSHOT: A PORTRAIT OF KOREAN ADOPTEES is an exhibit by Korean Adoptees about Korean Adoption/Adoptees. The Exhibit, which is a project being put together jointly by the Korean American Museum in Los Angeles and the Association of Korean Adoptees (AKA) Southern California, is scheduled to open during the late summer/early fall of 1999. SNAPSHOT is still soliciting submissions of work from artists. Anyone (adoptee, non-adoptee, Korean, non-Korean) of any age is welcome to submit slides/photos/proposals of work in any media (fine arts, performance arts, media arts, and text).

Even if you are not an "artist" per se, you may also contribute your "self-portrait" (poem, essay, photo etc. about you, your family, your experiences) for exhibit on the Montage Wall.
