For Zachary, he started out last April of 2000, as a rookie, at Derby City. Then in June we headed for our first National, & thats all it took for him & Isaac, they we're hooked, so we went to alot of Nationals, & tried to keep up with their points, & where their standings where in the Nation Points. Then by the time the Grand National rolled around, it was then Zach took off, & just blew us away. But the sad part was he didnt make it to his Main at the Grands, he came in 1st place in every race before the Semi race, & lost by a 1/2 a tire length. But then we went, & got his nation plate, & he was 5 in the nation....WOW, pretty good for a rookied in my eyes. Then came the State Grands, & after winning every race at that one, he got a 1st Place Trophy, & was 2nd in the state of KY. Then we headed for the Nationals for the year 2001 in Farmer City, IL, & that one wasnt a good one for him, the first night he won the Midwest Region trophy, but then the next day.....crashed, & was hurt, so that was it for him at that national.

But he made a GREAT come back at the Thanksgiving Classic.....He got a PERFECT the whole weekend. Then still as a rookie, we headed for the President's Cup & the Christmas Classic, he won the President's Cup, came in 2nd Place the first day of the National, then 1st Place the 2nd day.....& that race, was one race we have never seen him race like before, we all came off our seats!LOL And after the President's Cup is when he became a Novice, I knew it was going to happen, but I was so happy for him, thats all he wanted, & he finally did it. But this year, I cant wait to see how he will do, we have to say....we're very proud of him & his lil brother.
