husbands are buried. Josie died of arteriosclerosis.

Nettie
is buried at Belle Passi Cemetery, Woodburn, Oregon. After her husband
William
died in 1934, Nettie moved by Greyhound Bus to Portland, Oregon with
Rilla
Mae Chapman who was six years old. They lived with Nettie's youngest
sister
and
her husband, Bertha and Daniel Bartholomew for about two years.
Nettie
went to Oregon to work as a housekeeper and nurse for William Ellis.
On
12/1937 Nettie married Wm. Ellis. Nettie resided in Vermont, Minnesota,
Nebraska,
Colorado, Iowa, Missouri and Oregon. Nettie had several strokes and
pneumonia
as well as being crippled with arthritis. Nettie outlived three of her
five
children
and suffered much emotional and physical pain, but continued to trust in
her
Savior's
love. She brought joy to many relatives and friends.
Nettie died at Salem
Memorial
Hospital from hyperstatic pneumonia at 79 years.
