But the end of all things is at hand;
Therefore be serious and watchful
In your prayers.

~ Thank You ~

      As the Roman year 1997 draws to its conclusion, we just want to give a big THANK YOU to all who have been able to assist us this past year in publishing Hebrew Roots. Without your generous support we simply would not have been able to do this work.
      Many of you have written and said that you just do not have funds available to help us, or you wish you could send more but are unable. Please do not apologize. It is our desire that Hebrew Roots go to anyone who wishes to receive it, whether they can contribute financially or not. For if you are unable to contribute, God will surely send someone else who can, as long as the publication serves His will.
      However there is another, and really more important way, that each of you can contribute to Hebrew Roots. That is through your prayers. Each issue brings it’s own set of challenges. Spiritual warfare is very real, and even though one cannot see the enemy, he does exist. Your heartfelt, and regular, prayers for this work are both needed and wanted.
      This coming year we hope to be able to publish a full six issues. (God willing, of course.) To do this we need both spiritual and financial support. Please pray that HaShem (the Name) will guide every word that is written in each and every one of those issues.
      May HaShem bless each and every one of you in this coming year.

~ Messianic Hasidim? ~

      We continue to hear reports that a number of the ultra-Orthodox Jews in Israel are coming to accept the fact that Yeshua is truly their Messiah. The following excerpt is taken from a letter from Sid Roth’s Messianic Vision.
      "Reports are still coming to my office of the ‘red-hot’ for Jesus rabbis and Yeshiva (rabbinical) students in Israel. It is estimated the group has grown to over 400! These ultra-Orthodox Jews received Jesus not by man, but by revelation of the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures. They move in awesome power and will evangelize millions around the world. The Holy Spirit has told them not to make themselves public. But very soon it will be time for this army of Jewish evangelists to reveal themselves to the world."
      Can this be? Is there really a stirring of the Holy Spirit among the ultra-orthodox in Israel that is bringing them to a faith in Yeshua? (However, of one thing you can be sure, they do not call Him Jesus.) Let us pray that it is so, and that they can assist all of us, who believe, to have a closer relationship with Messiah Yeshua.
