Well...er.
Well, this was something I wanted to do for some time, almost
since the start of this website. But for some reason, never got a
chance until now.
I think it was mainly the contriversey over the issue here: Belle and the Beast kissing. Personally, I like to call it the "Alternate Ending" to the future DVD *LOL*
I wish....*sigh*
I guess I was just too accustomed to the Beast and didn't like the Prince at all. (I still don't.). I think what really pushed me to finish this one was a line from "Highlander2", from Sean Connery.
"Most people have the full measure of life, and most people just watch it slowely drip away. But if you can summon it all up in one time, in one place, you can accomplish something glorious." -That line is probably the only redeeming factor in this sequel, IMO. And I kept thinking of that line towards the end of the film. It sounded a lot like what Belle would've said, I think.
This one took a lot of technical work and a lot of patience then I initally thought. Moving his arm upwards, then moving his head closer, then forming "eyelids", so his eyes would close. Then I've had to move Belle's cloak upwards, tilt her head a bit... Two weeks later, I was still "refining" it. *LOL*. It's not perfection to some, but it was enough for me. I got this image from scanning an old BatB calander I got as a gift many years ago; the only "other" image I put in this was Belle's face. I got it printed out and framed; it's standing over my desk right now :-) I liked the captions on this. Dunno why, but I was playing it by ear. And it worked out well to the ones I've showed this to.
