This was the first pic I've done after
the last "Deck Four" update. I thought it was about
time I did something serious with Bryce.
This was based on a dream of mine. And something from my past
that still inspires me. I was in Subic Bay in the Phillipines
Islands, at the beach. My father used to take us there during the
summers. One time I saw this naval frigette passing by. Nothing
really fancy. Some have joked that what seperated a frigette from
a dingy was more legroom. *LOL*
But I still get dreams about it; mostly about ships flying in the
air, hundreds of meters long and flying under USN colors. :-)
The rendering time on this was a nightmare for me. Almost two
hours!
I took a nap to pass the time.
I think this one was worth the time; a ship in drydock during
a sunset. My father took a similiar picture about 15 years ago,
with a C-130 plane during a sunrise. He had it framed on his
desk. So I guess this should be dedicated to him. :-)
