I liked the idea, and I thought it'd make an excellent fan-art pic.
I got the image from the CD-Rom program, "SW Episode 1: Insiders Guide" and worked my way from there.
This was one of the more challanging pics I've done in some time. (Originally, this was going to be a "varient" of my "Dark Enchantment" pics...) I've had to distort various body parts to make them look more feminine and less "bulky". Mostly around the hips and legs of Qui-Gon and Maul. It was harder then I expected; a total of at least 15 different "Layers" just on legs and parts of the torso!
Thanks to PhotoShop, I was able to create some wonderful lighting effects and a flare effect of the lightsabers crashing.
Some people asked about the "Backstory" behind the pic. With Sadira and Jasmine fighting eachother. Some thought that it was over their love for Al. I think the story would be a bit more darker then usual. Like if Jasmine had to fight her, in order to save her people. I tend to have a special love for "morality plays"; mainly because there is no distinct "right" or "wrong" answer. Jasmine is forced to chose between the life of her friend, and the lives of her people.
I like Jasmine's expression in this one. It's not rageful or anything, more like sad and remorseful. One person I showed this to picked that one immedately.
