FAQ
I was born on November 24, 1978 in Califonia.
Since I was basically a "Air Force Brat", I had the
oppertunity to visit some of the Far East: Korea (The Southern
one ;-), Japan, Phillipines, et al. In America, I've seen Texas,
Califronia, New York, New Jersey. And now I reside in the Florida
Panhandle. So as you can see, I've been around a bit <G>.
I basically live alone in a small, enclosed
portable living space; Meaning that I currently live in a camper.
Why? I hate large spaces, lot space fares are reasonible, and if
I don't like a certain neighbor, I can pack up and leave *LOL*. I
also keep a fairly large collection in my old room in Jersey.
Shoeboxes full of old photographs and magizine excerpts and other
things.
- So what's the deal with the
nickname? It started as a small joke with a
friend of mine. You see, I'm a major Wing Commander nut.
Got parts one and two, but found out that they're making
a three. With FMV and Mark Hamill. Full Motion Video was
a far cry for my ol' 286. But instead, I collected every
magizine article I could find on it. I even bought the
novel tie-in. One day, my friend was wondering why I was
reading this poor novel to tatters, and started to laugh
afterwards. He said that the main character sounded a lot
like myself, and started to call me that. Even in school
hallways, he call out Heart of The Tiger across crowded
hallways to get my attention. And I took the name,
thinking it would mock him. It never did, so I kept it
instead, feeling a bit more confortable with it now.
So why an I telling you this? Quite simple; you
don't know my real name or where exactly I live. And if you do
come, I'll just drive away. Don't think you can follow me; I'll
steal the license plates of the other guy's car and use his
instead <EG> *LOL*
- Ideas or signs of Insanity?
They come to me from time to time. Sometimes, I'll watch
a show or a movie and the comparisons come to me; other
times it hits hit full force, causing a "click"
that compells me to finish what I've started <EG>
- How do I do Them?
I use PhotoDeluxe. A "watered-down" version of
Photoshop. Well, let's face it; it's sucks :-P But since
Photoshop costs a good $600.00, and Deluxe came with my
Zip Drive (Which I thank my father for getting on my
birthday), I'll just have to live with it.
- Where do I get my images?
Most of the images I use for my pics come from 'net
archives and FTP sites. I don't steal from other people
personal sites. Not unless they say that it's free to
use. I don't steal them outright. I find that to be a tad
rude. But I do check out Anime archives and other places
for "potential" images. And I scour the
binaries part of Newsgroups to look for some more. (Which
is a chore in itself, damnable AOL NG browser...)
- Why don't you label your pics
with a sig or something? The truth: I
beleive that have nothing to worry about: Let's face it:
would *you* admit that you pasted Belle's face over
Ripley's?! *LOL* But seriously (Sort of.), other artists
works are good; some offered good comments while a few
rebuked them. I take the commenary seriously to some
degree. That's one reason I wanted to expand the
crossovers into different areas (Anime, Sci-Fi, et al)
- What's my personal fav?
So far, my favorate pic is still my "Belle
Runner" pic.
- Well, my interests vary. Certain
movies like Disney (you could probably tell by the Art
Section ;-), sci-fi, certain computer games like Wing
Commander (A sci-fi fighter simulator) to Blade Runner
(Part of my love for the film), and novels. My hobby is
collecting Disney books, mostly Beauty and The Beast. I
also collect various books, some "Making of..<Add
Film Here>" and a few novels.
- What books so I read?
Stpehen King, Tom Clancy, an occasional
Harloquinn (Sp?) romance novel.
- Magazines?
A few PC magizines, Disney mags, Starlog,
Victoria, Victorian Decorating and Lifestyles (*Love*
those clothes..:-)Various weapon magazines, like
"Guns & Weapons for Law Enforcement". My
interests are varied.
- Movies?
Action, mostly. As well as a few dramas. It depends if it
really goes well for me. But Disney is prominant in my
video library. If I had to chose between the new BatB on
DVD or the original 35mm reel of "Gone With The
Wind", I have to sit back and literally think it
over. But the DVD takes less shelf space *LOL*
- Music? Mostly
Disney soundtracks. But I am a fanactical Meatloaf fan,
along with some Celine Dion, Mariah Carey (her older
stuff) and some Elton John. Sometimes, there is a song
that plays well in my mind and I'll buy the CD. Like
Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing", for
example
- "Special Operations",
my pet-name for more of my Art. Mostly stuff that I'm
waiting until I can find better pics or a certain way to
capture the images. I make then under a secret SpecOps
group called the 48th Ronins. I had insperation from my
friends and the story about the 47th Ronins, based in
Feudal Japan. Since their were 8 or us; four boys and
four girls, we decided on 48. 4-8. It sounded more
symetrical once you think about it...
- "Kindred" My
first talspin Fanfic. After abandoning my "Rescue
Ranger: Year Of Hell" fanfic, I started on
this. I'm about 108 pages through right now. So that's
about halfway. (I Hope...)
- "Enchanted Castle".
It was at first, the title and concept of my first
"mainstream novel", dealing with a currupt
State child-welfare system and a rebellion involved to
stop them from going "private". "Enchanted
Castle" is basically the secret network server and
command center of a intelligence network and the CIC for
the ongoing rebellion against the System. Now it the
"current name" of my 2nd website, still in the
"testing" phase.
- I earn about $8.00 an hour working on a night shift in
local "stocks". That's about as far as I'm
willing to go about my employment. But I'm happy with it,
especially with the night shift.
- Why? I'm not a social person. I
hate parties and most social occasions. The night shift
gave me what I wanted: Bare mimium of social interaction,
yet enough people to communicate with to keep me mildy
sane. ;-D
- Are you anti-social? For the
most part, I did get some negative double-digits
on a social interactivity test last year. But that was
far better then the tripple digit, so I call
that progress
- Do you write manafestos? Well,
this is probably the closest I can go with insane
rantings and your reading it!! :-P
- According to my co-workers: Nothing :-)
- I do most of my shopping in what I consider heaven: Radio
Shack. Most of what I do involves my computer. I happen
to just about everything to my computer: the VCR, the two
TVs, my stereo. My only problem is when I have to move
them. It's like plumbing; afterwards, you're stuck with
some spare parts that wern't there before <EG> Or
when you get somwthing new to add to the mix; you have to
re-wire everything, hoping that it'd work. It tend to get
on my nerves at times <G>.
- I sometimes go to the mall, entering bookstores and
stores that sell scluptures and snowglobes. I also
collect various Disney figurines, especially the 3"
PVC ones.
- "And now, for those of you that have been
archiving this I.C.I.S.* special Documentary, the people
responsible...."
- Marco and the entire eGroups Aladdin Mailing List. Who
keeps me laughing and keeps me from feeling totally
alone. Thanks all.
- Bob Ito, Sherline Lee, Manon, "Notes", some of
the prominent Disney fan-artists who taken the time to
see my *insigificent* site. Thank you.
- "Thunderr" of the R.A.D.A Newsgroup.Who's
comments, experience and intergrity continue to inspire
me. Thanks for visiting my Site, good sir. And thanks for
your kind words.
- Some of the Brave Confed Pilots of the Wing Commander NG.
(Who'd probably rather face Kilrathi Aces and Nepilium
Warlords then see another of my Art ;-)
- The fine artists and folks of Walt Disney Animation,
who's work into their films continue to inspire me time
and time again...
- My family and friends, who kept me focused and inspired
me to continue on. "Hell with it, press that 'paste'
button...."
- DavidT whose answered my aircraft questions and ideas
without saying that I bothered him to death. This
Talespin novel shoulb be as much as part of him as it is
of me. I thank you.....
- To Collenn, from the bottom of my heart: Thanky you for
the profeeding work. I was never goud ad usimg
Sppellcheek <G>
- Simfar, the first person I've talked to in the Ng; I
would consider it an honor and privledge to be called a
friend of yours.

"The Price of Peace is Eternal
Vigilence..."
BTW, that *is* the theme music to Fox's
"Millenium"...I thought it'd help see the mood right
