I was always an Animation Fan, especially Disney. So far, My all time favorate Disney film Is Beauty and The Beast. WIth it's great music, unforgettable characters, and tales of Redemption; who couldn't love this flick.

Ah, Belle. Thy own Beloved Belle. Such grand wisdom and subtle beauty, a inspiration to the mind and soul. One could only look into her eyes and see the real beauty that most of Humanity tends to ignore. And her Voice! Such a lovely sound; sometimes I feel like Homer hearing the Sirens for the first time

I once had a good friend that looked a lot like her, in terms of looks and personality. It's erie! I won't give her name out, but she is a excellent companion and I can only hope the best for her.

Ariel, a example of Innocence. Her red hair shows off her firey sprit in "The Little Mermaid" so well. Animator Glen Keene earned his pay on this character! For some reason, whenever I see her, the I keep hearing sing the song "I Will Follow Him" plays out in the back of my head! It's a tab disturbing but she DOES have a great voice.

Some would compare her to Anya in Fox's "Anastasia". Sooner or later, I'll have to compose some list about resembalances. Some of which I even noted in some of my Newsgroup discussions.

Not too happy, is she? But Jasmine can always hold her own in a fight! I used to watch "Aladdin" on the Disney Afternoon almost religiously. And even thought I still wish Robin Williams was to be in the series, I still watch it. How hypocriticail!

I know; I lack a social life but hey I can't complain....much

I found this image in a book about the making of the movie "Aladdin". I owe a good friend a steak dinner for scanning this on his own time...in the middle of Mid-Terms! (He was not satisfied by my offer to "Super-size" the dinner.)

I once remember a girl named Jasmine who went to a class with me, she attended ROTC. I even drew Jasmine in a ROTC uniform, using the same image to the left here......she was *not* amused. So I appologize for being so annoying to her.

Here we are, see two romantics together dancing admist a sunset. (Why is it that I always fall for the famious Romantic Dance Scenes?) And yes, I know Anastasia is not Disney. But I enjoyed the movie so much I had to put her in.

Anya is definately someone who could hold her own. One of the few heroines/female lead who actually fares better then the male lead. (No offense, Demitri :-) You could just see the final battle with the villian to see that see she did more then her romantice interest! Should this mean the end to the "helpless damsel-in-distress"? It's a heck of a start.

Besides the resembances to Ariel, I've noticed another resembalnce to a character in a computer game. No, I'm not joking! It's a sci-fi fighter simulater called "Wing Commander II" by Origin. If I can get a screenshot, I'll try and post it here and let you decide.

Megara, from Hercules, is another animated heroine that's another breed alltogether: A bit of a tease, a servent to the villian in the film, and always there with a wise-crack or two! Susan Egan is *excellent* in this role, par only to her protrayl as Belle in BatB on Broadway. Who knew? Guess she'll won't have any problems being typecasted!

Again, there was once a classmate I ate lunch with during my Senior year that looked a lot like Meg. Until she cut her *beautiful* hair down a bit; I think I cried that day. (I know, I'm an emotional simp!) I even wrote a poem to her about what I thought of her. She graduated the same year I did. I've always wondered about her, even after all this time; but if she's reading this: I wish you the best from all my Heart.

Oh, and YES; I do find resembalances with certain people and Disney characters, either that or certain animals. I do the physical features for the former and personality as the latter.

Mulan, one of the better ones in recent years, IMO. With the richness of Asian culture and history, I'm surprised that no one ever thought of using it. And it portrays Asians in a positive, none Stereo-typicial manner. I'm getting sick of seeign media asians in jab coats or dujo outfits; it limits my options if I ever wanted to persue an acting career ;-)

Another thing I liked about "Mulan": great dresses...

Well, the latest Disney flick, "Tarzan", is one of the best films I've seen in a while. And the best in the sumer theaters, bar none. Of course, I don't think that Jane is flattered that she's on *my* site; I mean, that look on her face isn't that of flattery

So what do I like about her? Her accent, I think. I've always have a thing for a female voice. There's just something about English/Irish/Scottish women and their voices that I love; It tends to sicken some people for some reason.

I had a *Strange* Theory about Jane being an actual descendant of Belle. Click here if you want to read about it....

Well, her name is Cassandra. She a cynical seer in the TV show Hercules, another gem of DTA (Disney Television Animation). No doubt one of the most cynicial (and most amusing) animated characters brought to life. She's constantly persued by her classmate, Icerus. Who is madly in love with her!

I once had a strange about them, mostly the two together like in the end of Tarzan. Only Icurus has on his wax wings and they're both flying on the rooftops of Athens instead of in the jungles. It's a shame that I'll never see it in real life anytime soon.

I got this image from the DAFT Archives; thanks ;-)
