I am a born again Christian and I have been since May 4th 1994. I was having problems with my relationship and my children at the time, my life was out of control. I broke down on that day and realized that I couldn't take it any longer, I prayed for God to forgive my sins and come into my heart and take control of my life. The feeling was amazing I felt like a ton of bricks had been lifted from me. I was singing praises to the Lord. I still have some gloomy days, but I have hope for the future and a joy in my heart that I never felt before. I believe that we were all meant to have a relationship with our Lord. I'm thankful everyday for the blessings in my life and in my walk with him. I also have peace of mind, in knowing that one day I'll be going to heaven to be with the Lord, which is something we all need in this world of much uncertainty. I am also thankful that my Mom and my sister never gave up on me when it must have seemed like I never heard a word they said, and now I know what it is that they were talking about and how he changed their lives, because now he's changed mine too. I was blind before but now I see, he opens our eyes and shows us things in a whole new light, making anything seem possible. He is such a gracious God, I mean giving his one and only son to free us from our sins and give us everlasting life think about that for a minute... We all have to admit what an ultimate sacrifice that was. He truly is an
