All members are expected to complete started games, unless there are circumstances beyond their control and permission to cancel is granted by the remaining players at the table. 6. Discussion about a hand, should be made after the hand is completed, not during play.
TOP 4 RULES: 1. Members holding one of the top 4 rungs who reach a 6 consecutive loss record will receive a 10 rung loss in penalty. The administration will make random checks on these positions and will act upon the rule when seen. The rung reduction is done manually and will reply on visible stats at time the random check takes place. In the event that the affected player believes his streak to be something other than -6, the player should immediately alert an HH administrator and offer proof of his actual streak. 2. Members holding a top 4 rung are also expected to defend their rung positions regularly. These members are expected to play the person directly below them on the ladder whenever possible at least once every 72 hours. Every effort to defend against the next rung should be made. Members not in compliance with this will be assessed a 10 rung penalty, if found to be purposively avoiding defense of rung.3. The weekly 1 2 3 4 tourney will be at 2 pm est weekly , unless it is the weekend of the rung reset tourney, you are responsible for making yourself available for the game and if rungs 1 thru 4 are not available then the next available rung will be invited until the 4 spots are filled. The top 4 rungs will be reset with finish order of this game. If you are in another game you will be bypassed for this game. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready and available for the game. All games will be played to 100. All and add only. This game will be held each week there has not been an announced rung reset scheduled. TOP 10 RULE : Members holding a top 10 rung will be expected to play at least once every 2 days or a rung deduction will be made. This deduction will be automatically made by Cases. Regulations: Email addresses become public as soon as you become a member. You may change your email at any time, however you must inform administration of any changes. If members are found to have invalid email addresses, they will be placed in penalty box until they give admin a valid working email address. Should a player become disconnected and cannot return, or a player have to leave due to an emergency, either a league member should be found to complete the game, or the game should be cancelled. The choice will be at the discretion of the remaining 3 members using the following guidelines: if less than 1/2 of game is completed cancel game. If more than 1/2 has been completed a sub who is a league member can be used, or the game can be cancelled. If the sub wins the game no report will be made. If the sub loses it is the winner’s obligation of the game to inform the member who had left, of whom they would need to report a loss to. Games will be played in Punk Pad in Advanced and tracked on our Cases League game site. Loses are to be made immediately following a game and prior to beginning a new one. Only exception is if cases site is down and an immediate report is not possible. The report should then be made at the player’s earliest convenience. If the winner does not receive the report in a reasonable amount of time, he/she should follow up with the individual in the following manner, try to contact member by and remind them of need to report. If no response, Email the member requesting a report to be filed. After 24 hours and a report has not been filed please send email to administration with details of game ( date, time, members). The loser will then be contacted and a loss report will be made. If a loss report is not made, or there is a pattern to non filing of loss reports, then penalties may be assessed. It is mandatory to file a report before you commence with your next game, only exception is cases site being down. Use protected tables for all games, unless someone is being repeatedly harassed by outsiders, then the table may be made private. Any members who sponsors an individual assumes responsibility for that individual. Meaning the sponsor must inform the sponsored individual of all league rules and how reporting works, etc. The sponsor may be later called in to discuss and resolve any minor behavioral problems the sponsored individual may exhibit. Conduct: We do not encourage abusive language or the use of profanity at our tables, we do realize that at times, a member may be caught up in the game and say offensive things. If you feel you have been verbally abused please feel free to contact administration with your comments. We ask all members to respect fellow members and persistent offenders will be subject to penalty. Racism is expressively forbidden and will not be tolerated. Comments made to cast an unfavorable image to league may find yourself at risk of losing membership priviledges.. Reporting: Games may be played until there has been a total of 5 reports between any two players for one day. Holding over reports for anything other than technical difficulties is forbidden. Abusers of this will be subject to penalty. TOURNAMENTS: Tournaments beginning time is listed when you register. DO NOT sign up if you can not be there. They will start on time, or sooner if everyone is present at the discretion of the Tournament Director (TD). If a registered player is NOT present when the seating are made, the TD shall decide if that registered player shall be withdrawn, and when that will occur. Once a tourney is closed ( an action the TD does with Cases), there can be no SUBSTITUTIONS in the roster/registration. If a player is not present within 5 minutes of start of tounrnament time, they are considered withdrawn, and cannot advance, regardless of when they arrive at the table. If withdrawn by the TD, that player will be assessed a loss in their record. If a player is disconnected during game, a 5 (five) minute grace period will be given, then the remaining players have option of finding a (human) sub, or getting a robot, or waiting. If needed the TD shall make the final decision. If a player refuses to comply with the TD’s decision, they can be considered withdrawn, and assessed a loss to their record. Tthe TD has full discretion on how to, and who shall finish the game and/or who can advance, as long as that decision is not in conflict with these rules. There can be no partiality shown in the decision making by the TD. Subs cannot advance. In the event a sub wins the game AND the original player has either been withdrawn by the TD or has left the table ( by disconnect, family emergency or any other reason) AND they have not returned by the time the cards have been passed ( or first card played on NO PASS HAND) on what turns out to be the final hand of the game, then the second low will be considered the winner and advance to next round. Once all players have passed cards ( or played the first card on a no pass hand) on what turns out to be the FINAL HAND of the game, those are the OFFICIAL players, but only registered players can advance. FOR EXAMPLE: IF ALL PLAYERS HAVE MADE the pass for ( what turns out to be) the last hand and then one ( or more) players gets disconnected and your games is finished by robot or sub, and your seat ends up with the low score, you still are considered the winner of the game; and you will advance. Keeping in mind you must be ready to start the next round on time or be withdrawn by the TD. FOR EXAMPLE: Player starts the game, get disconnected, wait time occurs, sub plays remainder of game, but during the last hand ( after ALL PLAYERS HAVE PASSED (or the first card is played in a NO pass Hand) ) the original, registered player returns, he is considered withdrawn, and regardless of whether he re-sits at the table or not, he SHALL NOT be allowed to advance if his seat is the low score at the games end. FOR EXAMPLE: Player starts the game, get disconnected, wait time occurs, sub plays game, but BEFORE ALL PLAYERS HAVE PASSED (or the first card is played in a NO pass Hand) for the last hand the original, registered player returns, he is still eligible to play and advance, and he SHALL be allowed to advance if his seat is the low score at the games end. RETURNING PLAYERS: When a player returns to a table with a human sub in his spot, the human should be allowed to finish the hand, since he has made the pass and know the cover or play which has occurred at the table Robot subs should be booted and the player shall continue with the game. NOTICE: All players expecting to advance must be present at two (2) times, without exception. These are for the first pass and the last pass ( or for the first card to be played if it is a no pass hand).
For impromptu tourneys: the td will try to announce in lobby an approximate start time depending on how fast tourney is filling. When you notice that it is close to start time, please do not begin a new game. This holds up 15 other players. Ties: Set table to 100. Two humans, two bots, first human to 50 loses and other human advances. As scheduling permits we will have a rung reset tourney to reset the top 16 rungs.. TD's have the final say on all disputes arising during a tournament game.
