| Mom and I had a big hockey weekend, the Wild on Friday and the Gophers in Mankato on Saturday. Mom and I are both U of M graduates, but Mom is also an MSU graduate (but she knew who to root for). Tickets were hard to get, so we had Standing Room Only "seats." We ended up sitting on the top of the steps in the upper deck. The Gophers outskated and outscored the Mavericks with a 10-3 victory. Ten! Ten! Ten! We were sitting behind the Fox Sports Net broadcast booth and got to meet Frank Mazako and former Coach Doug Woog after the game. |
