| On a warm Minnesota summer day I stood in line at the State Fair to meet Wes Walz and get his autograph. While waiting for him to show up we got to watch re-runs of Wild playoff games - including a game where Wes scored a goal. We were so fixed on the game that we didn't notice that Wes had arrived and was standing next to us at the front of the line. It was so weird to watch him watch himself score a goal! Wes was nice enough to pose for a photo as well. Cousin Kristi, who is one of his biggest fans, was unable to join me at the fair, but I pasted her into one of the photos. |
