| Quick and Powerful "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12, KJV). What is it about God's word that take a persons life that is full of sin and cause him to do a complete about face? God's word is so powerful and Holy, If you are a (real) born again believer, you can't live just any old kind of way. When I do things that I know is not pleasing God, I get a sick feeling in my stomach. My spirit will not rest until I go back and do it God's way, What about you? We should be greatful that God has given us that precious gift of correction. Other wise we would find ourselves in a whole lot of trouble. God's word is powerful and we have been blessed by God to be able to use it. Saints let us use the Word of God wisely. And don't forget to thank Him for His convicting power. Prayer: Jesus thank you for your Holy Word. Teach us dear Lord how to use it. Thank you for your convicting power that keeps us on the stright and narrow. Help us to read it every day without fail, and we know that you will direct our paths. We love you and we give you all of the praise.
