"A Christian Prayer"

I love you so much dear Jesus,
There are no words to explain.

Since You came into my heart,
My life has never been the same.

The greatest desire of my heart,
is to never let You down.

For it is in Your holy will,
that I want to be found.

And so please Holy Spirit,
this is my prayer to You.

Please take control of my life,
and do whatever it is that You must do.

Lord please allow me to hear,
Your wondrous and sweet voice.

In everything that I do for You,
Please help me to make the right choice.

Lord I ask that You would show me,
how to make Your joy complete.

And may I always be found,
Sitting at Your beautiful feet.

And after all is said and done,
And this christian race has been won.

I know that You will be standing at heavens gate,
with Your arms opened wide.

Then You will gently take hold of my hand,
and we will walk inside.

Where I will forever bow down,
before Your holy throne.

Then I will no for sure,
that I made it safely home.
