Friends

Occasionaly I have friends that will send me little stories, or poems that they have written, here are just a few of what they have sent, and hopefully there will be more to come in the future.

Though miles may separate us
She is always beside me.
This Angel on my shoulder
the spirit that sets me free.

With gentle arms embracing me
Holding me softly through the night
Security comes and comforts me
She then whispers “It’s alright.”

My Angel fight’s to lift me high
When problems come my way.
With a gentle voice assuring me
Tomorrow will be a better day.

The way she speaks, the thing’s she has said
Give me a peace of mind
Let’s me know, I Love her so
From now until the end of time.

As time will come, and the goes by
And we all grow a little older
Today I pledge my life and Love
To the Angel on my shoulder

I saw her from a distance, with the light glistening in her hair.
She was smiling and whispering, beckoning me to come there.
Tho fear caused me to tremble, I was led by my heart
I closed my eyes and realized we would soon, never part.
Her hands were soft and gentle, like petals of a rose
I don't know why, cant understand but it was me she chose.
The fear subsided and peace came in, I was where I longed to be.
For the first time in my life, I'm with the one who really wants to be with me.
Her hair was soft and golden, her voice was like a gentle breeze.
Her eyes were dark and gorgeous, and could bring a strong man to his knees.
Her voice was soft and gentle, like the cooing of a dove.
Could it be, that I am free and finally found my love??
Tho time stands before us, and together we will be
"Forever and a day", she says, then softly kisses me.
