Moshing in the MortuaryCD
The magic and mystery of Heccubus is further revealed. Like a warlock returning to his birth place before he battles the cyclops. Like the ancient ceremony where the elders bathe him in knowledge. So to will you, the listener, be bathed in knowledge. The epic that is heccubus continues, and as always this album is just a small piece of the puzzle. The learning tree will teach you that SX is left all alone to "represent". Chauncey is missing. Smith has forsaken his "blood brother". This is at once a call to arms, and an autobiograpical account of what made SX the rock n' roll machine that he is today. Solve the grand riddle if you can. Or enjoy the ride, this one is far from over Tracklisting: The Candle (0de to Chauncey), Crime and Punishment, Dragon Fire, The Blugeoning, Half Man/ Half Beast, Blood Brothers lyrics available

Recorded in May of 2000, in the Lion's Den Fair Lawn, NJ

The Second Coming2xCD
This second comp. documents what has been dubbed "the Smithless Era" (1998-?) and contains the "trilogy" ... Chapter One: the Serpent and the Gatekeeper Chapter two: War Upon Earth Chapter Three: the Black Easter What the "revenge of the nerds" series is to cinema, The Second Coming will be to home-recorded death metal.

Released in April 2000

The Black EasterCD out of print
SX has never sounded so diabolical. Part three of the trilogy means that it's the last one. Heccubus won't let you down . A holiday album for Armaggedon Tracklisting: Black Easter Suite, Soul Reaper, Razor Dog, For Want of Gold, If Your Enemy Refuses to Be Humbled Destroy Him, Burned Beyond Recognition, Black Easter, Judge Jury Executioner, the Knights of Eternal Darkness, Black Easter Suite Part II lyrics available

Recorded in March 2000, in the Lion's Den Fair Lawn, NJ.

War Upon EarthCD out of print
Like a phoenix arisen in the desert, like something else coming back somewhere doing stuff. Former Heccubus leader returns upon the scene without a band. You'll beg them to stop, and they won't. You'll ask them to tune their guitars, but they won't know how. You'll ask them why they use Floyd Rose tremelos, but they don't even know. Featuring the seldom used Z chord. Tracklisting: The End is Now, Children of the Sword, Gyromancy, Malachai, Sorrow Comes Knocking,Sleep of Ages, the Lucifer Principle, Apocalypse of our Love lyrics available

Recorded in February 2000, in the Lion's Den Fair Lawn, NJ.

The Serpent & The GatekeeperCD out of print
SX's first solo album (while still a Heccubus release) represents a departure from the first stage of the Heccubus era (the Smith era: 93-97). SX understands that the future of Heccubus will suffer from Smith's departure but refuses to give in to the nay-sayers. What this record lacks in intensity, it more than makes up for in focus. (and in audibility too!). It's a mature step ripe with subtle heavy metal sexual innuendo, undoubtedly giving us a taste of the fury soon to be unleashed.Tracklisting: Our Black Song, Serpent & the Gatekeeper, I Am the Dog, Roads to Rivers, Spirits of the Grave, Black Winged Beast, Lucifix, Puppet Master, Beast Has Become Me lyrics available

Recorded in October 1999, in the Lion's Den Fair Lawn, NJ.

the Merciless & the DamnedEP out of print
This three song album is without a doubt the most radical departure Heccubus has ever taken from its Noise-core roots. All of the songs feature only piano and vocals (by this point Chauncey had left the band), the results are haunting...and construct a continuous narrative that become self-referential. The "fallen-angel" describes the initial rejection that pushes the character into a world of chaos and violence...(this can be seen as Heccubus's early stages..we too were misfits rejected by the masses) "The Elder" uses mystical references of good vs evil to illuminate some of Heccubus's motives. The record culminates in a twenty minute rendition of revelations...a biblical account of the end of days. It was to be the last song ever recorded with both Smith an SX in the fold. Tracklisting: Fallen Angel, The Elder, Alpha/Omega lyrics available

Recorded in late 1997, First Released on the In the Name of the Father Box Set

Come unto TheeCassette out of print
The final recording that features all three original members. In the summer of '96, they set up shop in a new studio but were plagued with problems from the get-go. At this point in history Smith despised working on Heccubus material. Further complicating things were SX's (the records producer) frustrating lack of technical know-how. The recording ultimately sounds horrible (SX often joked that although the results sound contrary, Come Unto Thee was not recorded inside a tin can), but is not without merrit..."bats and bears" is Heccubus at it's finest. Guest musician Mark Opirhory played drums on the first track...which accounts for the shocking outbreak of rhythm. Tracklisting: Springsteen for Hitler, Bats and Bears, Hatian Dance Ritual, Repent/Descent, Little Timmy, God is Going to Die lyrics available

Recorded in the Summer of 1997, at 471 Cedar Hill Ave Wyckoff, NJ (in garage studio)

HeccudubEP out of print
Most likely the least heard Heccubus related recording...now entirely deleted from the catalogue Features remixes from the first album, as well as some liberal interpretations of "songs". Inspired by the bands internal problems that were caused partially by our new college lives. Tracklisting: Tracks 1-5 unlisted, Priest Chase 1995

Recorded in the Fall of 1995: Homer Hall, Providence RI

From the Land Beyond the Tombs of the PharoahVHS out of print
The Crowning Jewel. At the request of a friend, Heccubus agreed to play the 1995 rainforest benefit at Ramapo High School. We decided not to rehearse proir to the gig in order to stay fresh. .... we were bursting with uunprecedented creativity and energy. This time the boys were clad in suits and ski masks. For the first time ever Heccubus introduced the keyboard into the mix for "yar" & "necronomicon". They also both opened and closed with stiring renditions of "Priest Chase". The tape is much easier to watch than T.D.W., but unfortunately features the unbearable cutesy talk of Matt D. and Raegun H. over the entire show (example:"Matty-watty do you want a soda?" "No thanks Raegun, that will hurt my tummy-wummy") Our largest audience ever perhaps as many as two hundred people saw us re-invent the High School Formal. Tracklisting: Priest Chase, Romp Em Stomp Em, Evil Lord, Evil Lord II, Stillborn, Yar, Everybody Must be Killed, Prom Night in Hell, Necronomicon, Priest Chase Finale

Recorded at Ramapo High School, Winter of 1995, Franklin Lakes NJ

Cycle of the WolfVHS out of print
A behind the scenes video documenting a single recording session (much in the same vein as Godard's "Sympathy for the Devil"). Recently unearthed by the filmmaker (new Heccubus drummer Embuzsch); features rare footage of former lead singer Smith laying down vocal tracks for "666" (about 7 different takes: all of which feature Smith performing in the fetal position...and one of which mysteriously features Smith using an Irish accent..

Recorded in the Winter of 1995 at 471 Cedar Hill Ave, Wyckoff NJ (bedroom studios)

Taking the Lords Name in VainCassette out of print
Our first full length; a classic to be sure. Half of the album was recorded in 1994 before we owned drums; for those cuts (ie.prom nite) Chauncey "played" the bass. The other half was recorded in early 1995 when Chauncey switched over to the drums and abandoned his four string. Guests include Kenechi Hoshine on "satan". Tracklisting: Satan, Evil Lord, Priest Chase, George, No He Won't, Soaking a Nun in Urine, Romp Em Stomp Em, Prom Nite in Hell, Satan (reprised) lyrics available

Recorded in late 1994 at 471 Cedar Hill Ave, Wyckoff NJ (bedroom studios)

The Darkness WithinVHS out of print
T.D.W. was recorded on VHS tape for posterity. Unfortunately after the intro (which saw the boys clad in ski masks and matching t-shirts:each with a big 6 on it) SX tripped over a light cord rendering the show in complete darkness. The title was easy....watching forty minutes of black screen (save for a few camera flashes illuminating the creepy figures) and ear piercing death metal is not. Many of the songs would later be recorded and released on "taking the lords name in vain" Tracklisting: Intro, Soak a Nun in Urine, Evil Lord, Priest Chase, No He Won't, George, 666 Stamped on My Forehead, Romp Em Stomp Em, Go Fucking Nuts, Drinking & Driving, Gimmie Some Head, Satan

Recorded in the Fall of 1994, Wyckoff NJ, Pete's Basement (when his parents were out of town)
