Chibi Duo's First Day of School: Chapter 1 - a mother's battle ~_^
"Waahhhhhhh!!!!!!! Okassan, noooooo!!!!!!!!!!"
A woman with long dark hair, walked down her house stairs, dragging a fighting, struggling 5-year old boy with a long braid behind her.
The woman pulled her son down the stairs as he vainly struggled out of her grasp.
"AHHHHHH!!!!!! Iie, Mama!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dunno want to go to school!!!!!" the little boy screamed at the top of his lungs.
When the woman finally managed to drag her son down the stairs and to the front door, his whining stopped immediately. He crossed his arms atop of his small chest stubbornly, scowling and pouting fiercely.
"Now, now Duo-chan… stop being so stubborn. School is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet new and interesting people… plus I don't want you hanging around the house all day, vegetating in front of that damn TV watching Pokeman!" his mother stated, forcing Duo's cap on his little head.
"Grrrr… Okassan…" Chibi Duo growled viciously.
Duo's mother frowned down at her son and grabbed him by his ear, pulling him out the door.
"Don't you dare take that tone of voice with me young man! Wait till your father hears about this!"
Chibi Duo sighed quietly as his mother got closer to their car. He couldn't help the lump that started developing in his throat. The water works began their way as Chibi Duo began pouting his bottom lip trembling uncontrollably, his eyes growing as large as saucers.
Duo's mother knowing something was up because of her son's silence, looked back and regretted that move, smacking her forehead. My son is just too cute…
"Come one Duo-chan, don't make that face… please…" she began, pleadingly.
Too late.
"WAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! WAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! MAAAAAAMAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Duo's mother's eyes grew wide with wonderment as her son's mouth became as big as her head.
"Duo-chan…?"
Duo continued doing his little fit, throwing himself on the ground kicking and screaming.
His mother became desperate as the time began to get late. She went to the car, opened the passenger side. She then ran back to the still kicking and screaming Duo. She grabbed him by his pants and let him hang in mid-air still kicking and screaming, as she carried him to the car.
When finally Duo realized something wasn't right he opened his eyes and looked around him curiously.
"Hey… I'm… I'm… flying…?" Duo the looked up curiously to see his mother. She had him by his pants and was carrying him to the car.
He sniffled quietly as he finally realized that his fighting was useless.

She buckled her son into his seat and soon got behind the wheel driving off.
She looked worriedly at her son as all he did was sniffle and wipe his nose. She carefully removed one hand from the steering wheel and reached out to cup her son's face. She couldn't help but smile as those big brown eyes looked back at her.
"Oh, Duo-chan… I know how you feel. Kindergarten isn't as scary as you think you know. It's actually very nice. In fact, I believe you'd have more fun in that classroom playing with the other children and toys, then you would at home." She stated honestly.
Duo looked up at his mother and just simply sniffled. "But do they have a TV. No, I didn't think so…" Duo stated just as honestly and stubbornly.
Duo's mother gave a sigh of defeat. "For a five year old, you sure do got a mouth…" she mumbled under her breath.
"Your going to school and I don't want to hear another word about it… Duo! Duo!?!?" Duo's mother began scolding her son, but his face was pressed up against the window looking intently outside it.
She leaned over to see what had caught her son's attention and she face faulted. What had caught Duo's attention was the car next to them. In it was a little boy about Duo's age, Chinese. His face was pressed up against the window as well, staring at Duo but… his little finger was shoved up his left nostril digging around it absentmindedly.
"Duo! It's not nice to stare!" his mother stated turning her son so he faced forward.
"But Mama, I've never seen it go so far up like that… not even Papa can reach that far…" Duo said curiously.
Mrs. Maxwell sighed heavily but couldn't help but smile.
