Deliverance
They speak of a myth but perhaps it's true The story has been told by only a few Those who have seen her will surely agree An Angel from Heaven lives by the sea
The golden Angel appears now and then Blessing the earth with her soul again Drained and recovering from a journey so far She rests herself on a welcoming sand bar
With her head lowered and her wings slightly bent She closes her eyes for the blessed event Into the water she gently tips her wings Christening her soul is what the water brings
With fluids renewed and a smile on her face She swiftly flies off to God's special place Her wings hold the water that He will bestow Upon new Angels arriving from the world below
So now that you have heard the story too Next time you gaze onto the ocean blue Imagine the Angel who lives by the sea Delivering the Holy water that blesses thee
