Mysterious
Woman
For
only a moment she caught my eye
She
startled me and I don't know why
The
vision was clear, I was meant to see
This
woman in jeans standing next to me
I
shrieked out loud from the surprise
Before
I could speak she had left my eyes
I
stood there bewildered and all alone
The
vision I had seen was someone unknown
I
saw her long enough not to forget
Her
image was clear and I felt no threat
She
looked right at me with black curly hair
It
was shoulder length and I remember her stare
She
wore a sweater, I believe it was black
It
had a round collar but the flair it did lack
Her
arms were straight down at her sides
Her
hands were open with nothing inside
It
barely registered and she was gone so swiftly
This
moment in time happened so quickly
I
spun around to see if anyone was there
She
literally disappeared into thin air
I
saw the front door and it was still locked
Half
past seven is what I saw on the clock
It
wasn't that late but I thought I should leave
At
first the vision was hard to believe
But
I know what I saw and I know she was real
I
don't question myself for I know how I feel
I
have to wonder though if I hadn't looked up
Would
she have waited for my head to turn up?
So
now when I'm working late at night
I
wonder if she'll reappear within my sight
For
she will always be remembered by me
As
the mysterious woman I was allowed to see
