ON THE WAY TO BOUBLIWAE

PRELUDE

(Lovely Jubbley - The Sable One 7-20-00) My, my! With all the lovely jubbley goin' about you would think that we all fell into a mushroom patch. ;^] A mushroom patch, says I? Hmmmmm.... Seems to be a story in 'dis, doesn't there? Ah yes, the field was thick wit a quilt of mushroom stalks. Their bulbous heads (with apologies to Rowan...) neighboring each other so close that one could not see the ground lest he looked elsewhere. Happy The Man. A Flower? Supper's ready! Opps!! Sorry!! I accidentally hit the Genesis button in my brain!! Phil!!! More Fool Me!! OK, OK, back to the 'shrooms. Anyway, happy they were - swingin', swayin' and singin' in the breezes of that late summer's afternoon. As the sang, "Oooh, Fuuuungus and Mold! Fungus and Mold! Will we grow Old? Our tales to be told! Fungus and Mold! pause Boop, boop, be-doop - oh! Fu, fu, fu, funnnn - GUS! aaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnddddd Merry old Mold, better than Gold! If truth be Told! How we are Sold! Oooooooon --- Fungus and Mold!! Aaaaah-No!, my stalk's got a Hole! Can't find my Soul! I'd marry a Mole! Slide down a Pole! Pay any Toll! Achieve any Goal! Tooooooooo live in a Fieeeeeeld --- of Fungus and Mold!!!!" Silly little buggers, eh? As the trees oozed their sap in approval, "It" happened. Doth came the Porridge Egg!!! Descend it did from the heavens. Plummeting.......plummetting.........plummeting........plummeting....................plummeting......... Did I mention that it was falling? WHOOSH!!! Straight into the midst of the field of 'shrooms!!! Did it splat? Did the bulbous heads cushion it's fall? Is Groon about to enjoy some scrambled eggs? Praytell, Groon, has fares the Porridge Egg? So ends Episode one...

(Lovely jubbley - Groon 7/20/00) 'Tis true oh Sable one. THe egg of the Porridge Twit...er I mean Bird is saved by dropping into the lush mushroom field and coming to a gentle landing. This does not mean that all eggs anre saved however. Usually the Porridge Bird drops without looking and egg splats abound thusly, a rare breed indeed is the Porridge Bird Seed.

(lovely jubbley - Groon 7/20/00) Hey, hey, .....opps, sorry, where was I ?? Ah,, now the 'schrooms do sing and rhyme (jus you guess what key they sing in!) and this does of course attract the Faeries and, 'hoopdedo', a party and sometimes "A Flower " as well. Now with eggs and Faeries and Porridge Twits and mushrooms with bulbous heads and such ( hey Rowen ) you got a lot goin' on out there at dusk or dawn and this is what the faerie tales call the "Carpet Crawlers." Once again, we are talking faerie tales so that means "meanies" or nasties or just plain villains must pop up 'cause you got to have confrontation or the Sable One and me are jus wastin' alot of time here.....ahem....so, the Porridge parties are hard to get to acause these fields are usually bordered by the beautiful but dangerous 'jubbley shrubbery' Therefor the party goes on, an egg or three are saved and I got to go polish my wish ring so have a care. p.s. will there be more on the evil goblins (what goblins?) and what about 'jubbley shrubbery' and are the Sable One and Groon the only ones to carry this torch...hmmmmmmm ?
