I began my professional training in 1966, at the age of thirteen and would span over ten years with the Studio of Jack Richard in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. During this time, I excelled in the vocational commercial art course at Cuyahoga Falls High School and received top honors in that class. Mr. Richard, one of the most renowned portrait artists in the U.S., allowed me to work for my lessons as a framer and restorer in order to continue my general education studies. Through his tutelage, I advanced as his premiere student and was sent to study with Robert Brackman in Madison, Connecticut. With Robert Brackman, who has work displayed from San Fransisco to the Smithsonian, I enhanced my skill in the arts along with marketing.

Bronze sculptures of any size or complexity
I believe that because I spent my formative years in the presence of great artists and received one-on-one attention, I possess a dedication to the arts that is within my very being.

Additionally, I have been fortunate to apply my artistic knowledge and experience in my work history. I have had the opportunity to create highly innovative and clever visual designs in printed material, signs, and brochures. I have also enhanced my three-dimensional eye by creating models and molds for rotational and direct injection molds.

My training reached an unbelievable crescendo with my most recent experiences of working with the internationally recognized artist, Snell Johnson. With Snell auspices, we created the life-defining bronze "Grand Lion" which graces the entrance of the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. This history-making piece is a 45-foot tall, 100,000-pound sculpture that captured the title of the largest bronze sculpture in the Western Hemisphere. This, along with the "Caesar The Conqueror" in Johannesburg, South Africa, is my most cherished memory.

Pastel and oil portraits and landscapes
I now possess the diversity of placement of people, animals, and flora. I have works across the nation representing Native American history, Greek mythology, Southwestern History, and theology. Snell has made an everlasting impression on my life, art, and style.
