I began my professional training in 1966, at the age of thirteen and would span over ten years with the Studio of Jack Richard in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. During this time, I excelled in the vocational commercial art course at Cuyahoga Falls High School and received top honors in that class. Mr. Richard, one of the most renowned portrait artists in the U.S., allowed me to work for my lessons as a framer and restorer in order to continue my general education studies. Through his tutelage, I advanced as his premiere student and was sent to study with Robert Brackman in Madison, Connecticut. With Robert Brackman, who has work displayed from San Fransisco to the Smithsonian, I enhanced my skill in the arts along with marketing. | Cartoons and caricatures |
