                                                            I was born on August 28, 1961..that makes me 41 today. Seems old to some, but let me tell you, most of the time I feel like 16! Well, that's not quite true...my head does, my body tells me differently...LOL..:-))

After High School, I went to a Teachers Training College in Delft, Holland, to study 3rd Degree English and 2nd Degree German. In 1985 I had to go to the University of Cologne, Germany, to finish the last part of my studies. A week before I went, Hans and I got together. It was hard to leave him in Rotterdam..and soon after a few days I missed him like hell, believe me! I felt alone in another big city and I called him on the phone. That was on a Friday around 6.00 p.m...dinnertime..He told me that he couldn't eat anymore..he rushed to his bedroom to pack a few clothes and drove to the railwaystation. 6 hours later he held me in his arms and has never left me since then.....romantic huh?

 We finally got married on May 17, 1988....it was 12,5 years in November 2000. Watch the pics and enjoy our happiness! In all the years we're together our family grew a bit. We have one dog and two cats, they are on my site too.                    

My hobbies are Indonesian cooking, staying at home, reading a good book and listening to music. A few years ago Hans and I were in a rockband. It was a great time, very relaxing, LOUD, bad for our voices..lol, but we just loved it. I like the music from our own Dutch Anouk a lot! ( link )
