A big thank you to various members of Rootsweb Mailing Lists for taking these photos for me.
I would like to thank my cousin Maurie and his wife Jan for translating the Hebrew Inscriptions off of these grave stones. Without your help I wouldn't have this valuable information.
"Mount Hebron Cemetery Flushing, New York"
My Grandfather Samuel Rose/Rosen
There is a Hebrew Inscription at the bottom of the stone, which is hard to see in this picture, but it reads:
"Simcha Ya'acov ben reb Zev Wolf"
Which means, Simcha Ya'acov, son of Mr. Zev Wolf.
"Mount Hebron Cemetery Flushing, New York"
My Great Grandmother Mary Rosen
THE HEBREW INSCRIPTION READS:
"Miriam, daughter of David"
Who died on this first day of Elul 5696
May her soul be bound together with those of the living
"Mt. Zion Cemetery Maspeth, Queens NY"
My Great Uncle, Albert Rosen
THE HEBREW INSCRIPTION READS:
"Mikhael Leib ben reb Simcha"
Which means Micael Leib, son of Mr. Simcha
Died 7th day of pesach 5688
